About us
Elevate Our City Foundation is a Grapevine, Texas nonprofit. We raise money in our community and use it to pay off unpaid school lunch balances in Grapevine-Colleyville ISD.
Our story
Unpaid school lunch balances add up a few dollars at a time. They stay on the books of our local elementary schools and follow the families who can least afford them.
When we learned our elementary schools were carrying more than $3,100 in unpaid balances, we started this foundation to pay them off. Our first fundraiser is a charity gala on December 5, 2026, with a goal of $10,000.
Mission
To pay off unpaid school lunch balances for GCISD families, starting with our elementary schools and then the upper grades.
Values
- Local. Our money stays in our own school district.
- Direct. Every dollar above event costs goes to the kids.
- Private. We never publish the names of families who are helped.
- Accountable. We post what we raise and what we pay off.

Kathleen Bryant owns Elevations Interior Design Co. and founded Elevate Our City Foundation. In her words: “I can elevate your space. WE can elevate our city.”
