What does Elevate Our City Foundation do?
We raise money in our community and use it to pay off unpaid school lunch balances for families in Grapevine-Colleyville ISD. We start with the elementary schools and then move to the upper grades. Our 2026 goal is $10,000.
Why school lunch debt?
When a family falls behind, the balance stays with the child and grows month to month. It is a local problem our community can actually solve.
How much is owed?
Local families are carrying more than $3,100 in unpaid school lunch balances at our elementary schools alone, and the number grows every month.
How do families get help? Do they apply?
No application is needed. Payments are coordinated with the district, and we never publish family names.
Is my gift tax-deductible?
Yes. Elevate Our City Foundation is a Texas nonprofit corporation and a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization. Donations are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. Gala tickets are deductible above the value of dinner.
How much of my donation goes to the kids?
Every dollar above event costs goes to children's lunch balances.
When and where is the gala?
Saturday, December 5, 2026. Cocktails at 5 PM · Dinner at 6 PM. Private residence · Grapevine, Texas. The exact address is provided with ticket confirmation. Gala details.
How much are gala tickets?
$50 per guest. Dinner, live music and the full evening are included.

How can my business sponsor the gala?
We offer Presenting ($1,500), Gold ($750), Silver ($500) and in-kind levels. See sponsor levels.
How do I get off the email list?
